When I select items to add them to the order in WooCommerce, they aren’t added to the order as expected. My actions are as following.

    1. Click the button ‘New order’ to start a new order.
    2. Click the button ‘Add items’, then ‘Add products’.
A pop-up window appears for item selection.
    3. In the pop-up window, select the needed products and quantities.
    4. Click the button ‘Add’.

At this point, the pop-up disappears and I get an empty order window with a sandglass that keeps on spinning eternally.

However, when I click the ‘Create’ button, the order is created with the selected items on it. Still, to the right of each line, there seems to be room for an image but this image doesn’t show. Only a placeholder is visible.

Earlier, the items would be shown on the order and I could calculate the tax value before actually creating/saving the order.

Clearly, this behaviour changed after an update or a new plugin. However, I can’t pinpoint the true cause.

    In summary,
    – How can I see the selected items on my order before actually creating the order?
    – How can I see the product images on the WooCommerce table?

    Kind regards,

    Bernard

    Hi Bernard!

Thanks for the detailed message. I tested this out on my site, but I wasn’t able to replicate the issue; let’s make sure that nothing is conflicting with WooCommerce here. To test, first, you’ll want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then test. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

    Best,

It appeared to be the plugin ‘Badge Designer Lite For Woocommerce’ that caused the described trouble. However, I did notice a mention in WooCommerce that there are WooCommerce template files that are outdated. Still, my theme ‘Orfeo’ (based on Hestia) has no updates available. So, I will see if I can get into contact with them.

I tried but did not change my theme first. This action seems to be quite impacting and not without risk. Creating a staging site is a good suggestion. I have installed the plugin and will try it out when time allows. Thanks again.
@rossviviano , thank you for your kind support.
