# Selected class on widget items

 * I have had some time away form WordPress and now I remember why!!!
 * I have ‘Recent Posts’, ‘Archives’ and ‘Tags’ in my sidebar widget and all I would
   like is to simply have a selected class when they are clicked so I can style 
   where the user is.
 * But it seems that this is a a huge secret. I would be grateful if someone could
   include me in this secret.

 * Tried jQuery as a solution but jQuery also does not want to work in WordPress!
