    Hi David,

    That’s true. Loading the scaled-down version of an image would not just improve server-load, but would also make the slideshow run more smoothly.

    Shamefully, this efficiency update can only be done after the release of version 2.2.0, since it will function with more predictable sizes. Also, I feel like it deserves more attention than I’d be able to give it right now.

    I’m hoping to be able to release version 2.2.0 sometime in January. After that, I’ll start working on a way in which slideshows can be loaded more efficiently.
