"Select File" on Quick-add Download Tab Not Working in IE (1 post)

Using Internet Explorer 8/10 has the Select File button in the Quick-add Download tab not functioning (nothing happens when clicked).

It appears downloads can be added using the Add New page in the site admin. Could be unrelated, but I noticed the "Select Files" button in the WordPress uploader doesn't have the pointer cursor while the "Select File" button in the Quick-add Download tab does.

Is this due to a way in which the upload file input/button is set up? I'm guessing it could stem from a security restriction. I haven't looked into it too much further to be sure this is the issue, but this comes to mind: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/793014/jquery-trigger-file-input

I checked the script console, and it didn't show any errors. Anyone else having troubles with the Quick-add Download not working in Internet Explorer?
