    I don’t always remember all the existing tags that could apply to a post, so I would really love it if the posting page would present me with a list of pre-existing tags in a multi-select box or checkbox format rather than having me type them all in manually. Is there a way to do this?

    Hi,

    Easy solution would be:

    When you are creating or editing post, in the tags section of WordPress (at-the-right-side), try typing name of the tag that you were using before and WordPress will popup showing existing tags.

    Or,

    If you don’t remember tags you were using before and would like to add the same tag to the new one or other existing posts,

    * Login to WordPress admin (yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/) >>
    * Posts >>
    * Tags

    Look for the existing tags, select, copy and paste tag to the post that you like to use.

    If there are lots of tags, try search tags. Then click on Add.

    I’m afraid that’s waaaaay too much work. I’ve been adding them manually and while the dropdown is helpful, it’s not all that efficient, since each post needs about ten tags. I have 200+ posts to tag. It would be a lot easier to just select the ones I need.
