    Hello.

    When making a payment with amazonPay, is it possible to select different addresses for shipping and billing?

    I would like to ship to a different address than my billing address in case I want to give a gift to someone, but I am having trouble because the billing address is also registered to the same address.

    I would appreciate it if you could help me.

    Hope you are doing well!

    please send me the steps you are following so I can understand exactly what you want to do. But I will try to explain.

    If you are using the Express Checkout button, you are only going to select the shipping address and you can add as many as you want to your Amazon Pay wallet. The billing address will be the one that was filled with the Credit Card.

    If you are using the Classic Checkout form, you can use it as another Payment Method.

    We are trying to use the Express Checkout button.

    You responded above, but in our admin order details, the billing address shows the shipping address selected by the user and we are unable to retrieve the billing address.

    So let me ask you the following questions.

    Question1 Can I see the address I entered on my Credit Card in WooCommerce?
    On our site, the tax amount varies depending on the billing address.
    We really want to be able to get the billing address, because if we cannot get the billing address, the calculation of the fee will be incorrect.

    Question2 Is it possible to allow users to enter their billing address on the checkout screen?
    (I would like to display an input form for the billing address. )
    (Because if someone purchases an item as a gift for someone else, the shipping address and billing address may be different.)

    It is very helpful that you can confirm this.

    Only on the Amazon Pay account, you can see the billing address entered for the Credit Card.

    So if I use the Express Checkout button, WooCommerce can’t get the billing address, so if I calculate the tax amount based on the billing address, it can’t calculate the tax amount either?

    Only with the classic way you can enter the billing/shipping address and then use the Amazon Pay account.

    I have looked into the classic way myself, but could not find a way to set it up on Woocommerce.
    The only thing I have set up now is the Express Checkout button.

    I would like to know if there is any document that shows how to set it up.

    (I have not seen a Japanese site with the AmazonPay classic way. Is this perhaps another policy issue?)

    Hey @norikiyo

    For the classic way, first you need to install the latest version of the plugin 2.3.0. (please check first: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/migrate-v1-keys-to-v2-amazon-pay-v2-3-0-or-later-2/ )

    then go to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=checkout&section=amazon_payments_advanced and the option “Classic Gateway” should be enabled.

    Then the user will have the Amazon Pay option as other gateways in the Payment Method section.

    I can confirm that because of Privacy and policy in Japan, Amazon Pay can only retrieve shipping addresses on the Express Checkout.

    Were you able to use the Classic Checkout with Amazon Pay?
