• Hi There,

Yesterday I let the pluging to make the SEO index. After that, basically the plugin kill-s the site. There are 9 threads what continously runs thes kind of sql-s:
    SELECT *, ( SELECT COUNT(*) FROM [PREFIX]_yoast_prominent_words WHERE [PREFIX]_yoast_prominent_words.stem = prominent_words_table.stem ) AS df FROM [PREFIX]_yoast_prominent_words prominent_words_table WHERE indexable_id IN ([LOTSOFIDS])

If one ends, on the same thread numer appears another. This 9 threads cause 11 load in server and mysql constantly uses 350% of processor. This happens at least for an hour. Then a little pause, and again.

Please let know, what it makes this, why, and how ccan I stop it. Anyway, select count(*) in 2020? Oh gosh, please hire an sql expert!

We uses the latest version of the premium plugin.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Regards,
    Gábor Göcsei

  • Hi @ggocsei,

Sorry to hear that there’s a performance issue on your site.

This forum is only for the free version of Yoast SEO, so according to the forum guidelines, we cannot answer questions about our premium products here.

You’re eligible for our premium support, so we ask you to contact our support team directly.

I’m premium and I’m having exactly the same issue. I’ve even disabled and re-enabled the plugin but those processes start over and over again and kill the server! What is this nonsense?

Have you ever tested those features on some big sites? 1300% CPU usage is not acceptable!

    Restarting MySQL server? No!
    Restarting Litespeed server? No!
    Restarting PHP? No!
