    HI,

My website is hosted on dreamhost. I installed and setup the keys. However, when I tried to select the bucket…the bucket displayed below message.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method SimpleXMLIterator::__toString() in /home/username/XXX/wp-content/plugins/dreamobjects/AWSSDKforPHP/utilities/simplexml.class.php

How do I fix it ?

    Thank you!

Are you using PHP 5.2 by chance?

Yeah you’ll have to upgrade to 5.3 or 5.4 :/

The only way to support 5.4 was to (apparently) drop 5.2. WP (and everything WordPressy) runs great on 5.3, which is actually much faster anyway.

    Oh never mind. (bangs head…)

I am still having problems with using this plugin.

I have my WP site on Dreamhost. I’ve entered the keys, and can see and select the bucket I want to backup my site to. I’ve configured the backup page for all files and database, on a daily schedule with the minimum backup retention. I waited two days, and NOTHING shows up in my bucket. I then click the “Backup ASAP” button and got the message:

“You have an ad-hoc backup scheduled for today at 08:31 pm. Do not hit refresh on the backups page. You may continue using your site per usual, the backup will run behind the scenes.”

Groovy. I think all is swell, and come back the next day and… ZILCH. Nothing in the bucket.

What is wrong, or what am I doing wrong?

    DJ,

    1) Please make your own topic 🙂 This one is resolved, and it throws things off.

    2) Have you turned on the error logging and, if so, is anything in there?

    3) What’s your domain? If you don’t want to make it public, you can email me at mika.epstein AT dreamhost.com and I’ll take a look on the inside.
