    Hey,
    So with this theme it’s set to crop images to a certain size. But if you want to have all different ratios then you will want to turn off the theme cropping in the theme options > shop settings.

    You will also want to make sure in your woocommerce settings that you click the button to uncheck “hard crop”

    Then you will want to regenerate your thumbnails.

    And lastly the categories images were designed to be a thumbnail if you want to change that you need to edit the file: virtue/woocommerce/content-product_cat.php and on line 26 change
    $catimgheight = 130;
    to:
    $catimgheight = null;

    Thank you. I wil have a look in those settings.

    About the categories, I do like a cropped image there, but what I have now is not e square one, but half the image.
    The settings are on 90/90..so I thought I would get that.
    Hope I make myself clear.

    The rectangle image is the default style (premium has options for all this). But you can change that the same way:
    edit the file: virtue/woocommerce/content-product_cat.php and on line 26 change
    $catimgheight = 130;
    to:
    $catimgheight = 270;

    What do you mean with: regenerate your thumbnails?

    I have the right seize now for the thumbnails in the catergories, thank you.

    I still have the same for the product itself:
    Did the “hard crop” of and also the authomatic cropping in the shopsettings.

    I changed the settings in the woocommerce settings from 498/498 to 900/600..no idea if this would work, I thought..I make them bigger. but still the same.

    I only want the bigger picture on the single product page. the rest of the cropping ( all products page) is fine and looks better, all the same seize.

    So for the sizes to take effect you will need to regenerate the thumbnails:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    That plugin will do it for you.

    I just have uploaded the theme..and now the thumbnails are the old seize again..and I cannot find where to change this now..
    Was this in the part of ” custom-woocommerce.php?

    and then the 26th line?

    Did you turn the theme sizing off in the theme options > shop settings.

    Kadence Themes

    Yes, that is turned of, should that be on?

    Theme Author Kadence Themes

    (@britner)

    Yeah that should be off for what you want. So Lets backup I’m confused. What isn’t working for you right now.

    Kadence Themes

    It is how I started this topic..

    On the shop page, the categorie thumbnails I like to have bigger. I had it working, but now, it is back to the smaller thumbnails again .http://thecolourbubble.com/thecolourbubble.com/shop/

    Also on the pruduct page ( single product) I would like to have the whole picture, instead of the thumbnail .

    I can imagine it is getting confusing…also..I just upgraded to premium…..so maybe I can now do all this in the shop settings..?

    I have used the settings in the premium of the shop..and it looks all fine now, thank for your time and patience 😉

    have more questions….;-)
