    Hello,
I have a customer who uses colibri-page-builder-pro with the themes colibri-wp (parent) and calliope. When they save a post they get a 503 ONLY when Yoast SEO is active. The POST request is to admin-ajax.php with action: customize_save. We have concluded that the 503 is a segfault and we see that Yoast does hook in to the customizer.

Do you have any input on what could be causing this? As I said, it only happens when Yoast SEO is active. If you can give us some hints on which functions you think may be involved that would be super helpful.

    Hello Asarosenberg,

I am sorry to learn about the 503 error you receive when you try to save a post. Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you do not feel comfortable to do this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

    Hello,

We have already identified the problem combo. The problem only occurs with colibri-page-builder-pro with the themes colibri-wp (parent) and calliope and Yoast SEO.

I’ll let the customer know they’ll need to get in touch with Yoast SEO Premium support.

    Hello,

Additionally, we highly recommend reporting plugin conflicts to the developer of the conflicting plugin as they may have additional information vital to providing a resolution.

    Thanks

I have heard back from the customer and they will try another SEO plugin. Thanks for your replies, marking this as resolved.
