Some issues after the latest WP upgrade, there were others but these were the most obvious…

The login redirect broke, returns to home page by default no matter what is selected on the backend

We had opted to have the WP top menu appear once someone is logged in, that no longer appears making is a guessing game if the person is logged in (including ourselves)

If we had more than one instance of WP open (i.e., tabs in the same browser), we had to log into each instance (tab)

For now, we are using another social login (and we’re not liking it) — will be happy to check out the new upgrade once read to see if everything has returned to normal…

Another issues to note — this is ia a biggie for us, and anyone else dosing the same…

We use the shortcodes to block content from the general public but to share with those registered with us — the shortcuts are not working, everything remains hidden whether logged in or not.

This is presenting a huge problem and we are reassessing the value of this plugin to our site.

Took us a while as we have more than 70 plugins but we have isolated the problem — and it is NOT this plugin. WP SuperCache seems to be the culprit though we are not sure why just yet. Since upgrading to WP 4.7, WPSC is affecting other plugins (favorite posts) as well as the Admin bar. The bar is supposed to be appearing at all times once logged in, with WPSC activated the admin bar is only appearing while working on the backend. That means WPSC is being affected by something in the new version.

Glad that you found the issue. It’s just a pity you left our plugin an unjustified 1 star rating…
