Overall, a nice first impression. I’m not that into flash sliders, but at least Piecemaker has an striking effect that (probably) couldn’t be achieved with CSS and HTML.
The one thing that stood out to me is the logo; it feels way to big for the header. I would make it about 50px shorter and center it vertically. Also, I would probably remove the search field (or only display it in the blog) and put bigger focus on the phone number.
Thanks Anlino – I agree about the logo and the search field. Having this confirmed is very helpful indeed. I will attand to them shortly 🙂

You are going to have to significantly increase the amount of information offered for some of your services such as computer repair.
I would not recommend using html characters in your title tags – «
It appears that many of your service page title tags are dynamic and not necessarily targeted towards that specific service offered on that page.
I would consider how each title tag can target the local Adelaide services you offer.
i.e. > Adelaide Data Recovery
Thanks ebar – I didnt realise that! Will look into it 🙂
I like the look and feel of the site. I’m running an average broadband connection and the flash player did take a few seconds to load so I’m sure if you can decrease the image sizes at all.
I’m also wondering if you could move your topic of links from the top nav bar to somewhere else since it’s not really providing value to the end user. Maybe put contact there instead?
Hope that helps,
Ryan

Thanks External – You’re right about the links. And yes, its slow – the problem is my Hosting, which although is very cheap is not at all fast. Im looking at moving hosts to reduce the possibility of click-away due to the slow speed on the current provider.
I think it looks great. A good website is often over looked for computer repair companies.
As someone mentioned before, the logo is a bit out of place. Personally, I think it feels a bit generic, and doesn’t reflect the overall quality of the rest of the site. It looks like a couple very simple gradients.
Also, it doesn’t happen every time the page loads, but when I refresh I notice 2 errors at the bottom.
Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /home/adelaida/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 3954
Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /home/adelaida/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 3954
You may want to look in to that. Good luck and good job!
Thanks for the heads-up Epilepsy. Will look into it….
1. Thanks Anlino. Ive shrunk the logo. I think it needs to be dropped down a few px too, but will get to it when I get a chance. Have also removed the search bar.
2. Thanks Ebar. I am now working with an SEO guy. There’s a long story behind the strategy I plan to employ (50% of the work done since your comment), but will create pages for every keyword and use backlinks to each of those for SEO.
3. Thanks External. Ive installed a caching plugin, which has significantly increased page load speed. Have also removed ‘links’ as per your recommendation.
4. Thanks Epliepsy. I have removed the offending plugin and the error is not occurring now.
5. Have also installed a better quality wordpress theme ‘(Breeze)’. Amazing what a difference this has made to the look of the site.
Thanks to everyone for their input. Further critique welcome from anyone who would care to have a look 🙂

looks nice but takes 40 seconds to load
I consider 4 seconds bearable.
You can easily fix your many failed tests there by reading the notes at that website..
