seeking FB like and count button for sidebar

Hi,

I’m trying to find a very simple Facebook plug-in that allows people to like and counts how many likes (pretty much like the one shown below on this WordPress forum page), BUT I want it to show up only in the sidebar of each page rather than on the pages themselves. Simple social media buttons would work great if I can make them go on the sidebar. Does anybody know how to do this or have another plug-in option for me?
