I have made changes to pages in twenty twenty-one, but I only see them as admin.

I used twenty twenty-one options to add a header image and change the title and tag font sizes.

I added a “under construction” message to the front page. Only I (as admin) can see it. If I log out and check the site, no “under construction” message

  • Hi Keith, how are you handling the under construction messaging? Are you using any plugin for “Under construction” message? Mostly those plugins offer a setting to which users the under construction / maintenance mode plugin should be visible.

Also if this is your site http://dandeliondreamdolls.com/ then I see the under construction message if I append some query parameter to the URL. So most likely this could be due to caching in place on the server – check here – http://dandeliondreamdolls.com/?cache=false

I see you are setting up a new store using WooCommerce. If you do not want public to place an order and notify them that it is work in progress then instead of “under construction” messaging you can use WooCommerce’s default store notice feature. Please check here https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-customizer/

    I hope this helps.

    website is dandeliondreamdolls.com

Please check with hosting provider if there is any caching at the server level. Also check if you are using any caching plugin and if you need to purge the cache.

Samuel, thank you very much. That solved the problem. I did not expect caching problems to come from the hosting provider.
