 * Does anyone here have a good understanding of how failed logins are handled at
   the sourcecode level in wordpress?
 * I have two plugins that are conflicting (somewhat) with each other. One of them(“
IQ Block Country”) is set to block all attempts on my backend by Non-US Hosts.
The other (“Login Lockdown”) is set to block users who make a certain number
of failed attempts on my wp-login.php.
 * I can see that in many cases “IQ Block Country” does its job but in many other
cases, the host is not blocked and it ends up getting blocked later by “Login
   Lockdown”.
 * Can anyone shed any light on this (even from the code level)? It appears that
sometimes a host is handled by one plugin and not by the other.
