Are there any security risks or concerns if I use this plugin as an admin for myself? I continually am being logged out of my WP install and then have to take some cumbersome steps to load up LastPass, search for the site nd fill in the password etc. Figured I could use this to eliminate the step and just bookmark an indefinite login.

    Any issues with that?

  • Hi,

Yes, you can use Temporary Login Without Password plugin in this way also.

There is no such security risks as such unless you share temporary login link with others (same as you share your login credentials).

So, you can use it without any issue. But, you won’t be able to access user profile page, plugin delete page, temporary logins page etc as we have put the restriction to not access these pages by temporary user.

We are planning to add new mode where you can create temporary admin with whole site access. So, you can use that option.

We will update you once it’s available. Meanwhile, you can create temporary admin user and use it.

    Hope that helps.
