# Security question

 * Hi there,
    I’d love install WordPress 2.5.1, but I have a question about security.
   If i upload wp-config.php with all the password of my database, what can prevent
   to be hacked? I mean, an easy way to stole a password is to download that page..
   So what can I do to avoid hacking ?

 * If you can download (and see the values in) wp-config.php, then that means that
   PHP is not configured correctly on your server and a chat with your host would
   be in order.

 * In the meantime, you want to choose a web host carefully. Many websites hosted
   at the same companies (Spoono Host, PowWeb, 34SP.com…) are under repeated exploitation.
