Security iusses in WP-1.2.1

  • Hi,
First of all I apologize for using your support forum to post this text but
this time I want be sure that everybody is able to read my message.
The last time I wrote a message to m@wordpress.org and waited a week for a response. I thought that the developer(s) ignore my mail and therefore I posted the vulnerabilities on bugtraq. I would not publicize such information before contacting the vendor of a software so sorry for your problems.
But I have to say that I’m very disappointed after a quick reread of the wordpress source. Further details about this topic per mail. I *sent* a
    mail to m@wordpress.org.
    Regards,
    Thomas Waldegger

  • maybe you got caught in his spam filters?

hm, this shouldn’t be seen as spam anyway..eehe… hope this bug gets fixed soon 🙁
tnx for the info Thomas Waldegger ..

Matt is currently travelling across America – his net access is extremely limited.
Either give him quite a while to get back to you, or provide an email address for another dev to contact you.
