• Hello all…I just installed the latest BuddyPress to my wordpress site and now whenever I visit my webpage the BuddyPress Menu always appears at the top and allows anyone to access my dashboard and manipulate info. How do I keep this secure from visitors? Please keep in mind that I am new and have no coding expirience. NONE.

  • That is because you are logged in as admin, and get access to everything. everyone else only gets access to what you allow them.

As Rich mentioned above, only Super/Site Admin has access to “change everything” and that “Dashboard” link only appears to Administrator of site.. The default role of new users to your main blog and BP install is “Subscriber”. So unless you’ve changed default to Editor or Admin, they won’t be able to change anything.
