    With this plugin we got our email address blocked. I tested this today and changed to another plugin, after I saw that immediately after using a new Email address we got return emails to the new email address that stopped immediately after I deactivated the plugin. I use SMTP Mailer 1.02 now and this stopped the spam as far as I can see.

    Not sure if it is a specific problem regarding the combination of our contact form that is included in the theme and this plugin, but I think it could be that this plugin has been hacked.

    it was a problem with Jetpack Email sharing that had been misused by spammers. Jetpack is aware of this and their recaptcha implementation does not work anymore, so i was forced to turn sharing by email off for now.
