I have a site with a few custom post types created using the Types plugin. All of a sudden I can only see one of the CPT’s in the dashboard menu instead of three.
They all display fine on the front-end of the site, but now I can’t get back to them to edit them.
when i go to the Types plugin settings, all the CPT’s are there, but there is a warning
    “Security improvement:
This version of Types has improved security when importing Types settings. Types settings that were saved with the older version of Types may not import all the data. You should export new Types settings if needed.”
I’m pretty sure the plugin was updated recently, does this warning mean I need to recreate the CPT’s that are not displaying?

    current Types version: 1.6.3

  • Dear Robey

Please do not worry. We just change import/export file format to avoid vulnerability to PHP Object Injection.

That means export/import are now incompatible between version 1.6.3 and all previous.

    Just close this message.

    More about PHP Object Injection.

    Cheers.

    Marcin
