# security failures?

 * My site was redirecting to second spam sites after accessing it, I tried several
ways to resolve it, including technical support of the hosting but nothing was
   detected
 * I backed up the site to where it was working normally, but a day later it would
go back to spam pages…I was desperate to delete the site and redo it!
 * Until searching the web more deeply I started to explore my plugins and found
in the folder of Media Library Assistant several strange scripts, after removing
the plugin and the folder the site returned to function normally as before
 * I am not a wordpress expert, apparently all my directories were protected, but
I leave this feedback to the creator to review security flaws in the plugin that
may exist because it was through him that they invaded my site by putting scripts
   ads

 * Thank you for taking the time to report your experience. I regret any part MLA
played in your site’s problems and I would like to do whatever I can to prevent
   future occurrences.
 * You wrote that you “**_found in the folder of Media Library Assistant several
strange scripts_**“. It would be very helpful to know which MLA folder contained
the scripts and what the script file names were. The scripts that come with the
plugin have been reviewed by security services in the past and should not cause
   any problems.
 * Your report is the first I have received of this type and I am committed to doing
what I can to resolve whatever problems I can. Thanks for your understanding
and any additional details you can provide.

 * It has been over a month since the last post in this topic. I hope you have not
experienced any new security issues with MLA.
 * In the absence of additional information I am marking this topic resolved, but
please update it if you have any other details that would enable me to investigate
   further.
