Security Control expired

    Hi,

    I received a mail from a visitor who told me that posting a comment was impossible, he took a message error : security controle expired (in french : “Controle de sécurité expiré”).

    It may monthes that I don’t have comments, before I had a lot, i didn’t take conscience of that but know I wonder if there is a problem with a plugin.

    May it come from antispam bee ?

    Antispam Bee has not such an error message.

    But: Can you reproduce the error or can you send me a link to the page, so I could have a closer look?

    Do you have other plugins, which might interfere?

    Hi, Thanks for the fast answer.

    I have jetpack (but removed askimet) and many others plugins (in link with security : buddypress captcha but it is for the inscription and wordfence) but removed all (except facebook comments, but before I had askimet and this and had comments) in link with comments to let only antispam bee.

    All the plugins actualy : Antispam Bee – Barcelona. Shortcodes – bbPress – BuddyPress Captchat – BuddyPress – Entry Views – Envato WordPress Toolkit – Facebook Comments Importer – Facebook Comments Plugin – Facebook Open Graph – Frontend Publishing – Google XML Sitemaps – JetPack – Login Page Styler – MailPoet Newsletters – Modern Events Calendar – rtMedia – Ubermenu 3 – Widget Instance – Wordfence Security – WordPress Social Login – Wp Apptouch – Wp Super Cache – WPDBSpring Clean -WPFront User Role Editor

    I didn’t see the error, it is a visitor (that I know well and post on the website) who tried to post a comment on this post (www.permatheque.fr/2017/03/23/le-jardin-foret) and got the error “Contrôle de Sécurité Expiré” (Security control expired).

    Hi,
    I had a quick look. Right now, Antispam Bee is most likely not checking your comments at all, since you are using the Jetpack Comment System.

    Antispam Bee works only with the native WordPress comment system.

    But Antispam Bee does no harm here either, right now, it’s just useless 🙂

    I guess, you should get in contact with the people at Jetpack to discuss the problem with the “Contrôle de Sécurité Expiré” error.
