 * Hi, me too, this appears to have stopped working on the day of last release. 
   28/03/2014.
 * The only changes made recently were to change the url shortening method from 
   tiny url to google.
 * I updated to the new release but this did not solve the issue.
 * I too get the correct ‘1’ response to the test url
    [http://wtf-fu.com/?s2member_s_badge_status=1](http://wtf-fu.com/?s2member_s_badge_status=1)
 * but on the security badge settings page it is listed as ‘not verified’.
    and 
   the badge does not show up on the site anymore.

 * As the test link returns 1 (== secure) I believe all the settings are correct.
 * Any suggestions on how to debug this further would be appreciated.

 * Its now working again for me.
 * I ran the latest s2-member-server-scanner.php and it passed but advised
    increasing
   wordpress memory limit (40Mb by default) to 64 Mb.
 * I let it do this and after that it was working again.
 * So unless this is a co-incidence, I guess that this new test (I hadn’t seen this
   recommendation before) was causing the badge display failure, even though the
   badge_status link was returning ‘1’
 * So, try the scanner and correct any warnings is my advise.
 * Hope this helps someone else.
