No matter the configuration I try to set for Secure Cookies, it leads to my site being inaccessible with a 500 internal server error. I then need to delete the Secure Cookie section in .htaccess added by the plugin.

Are there incompatibilities with the Secure Cookie header that I’m unaware of that’s causing this or is the syntax provided by the plugin wrong? Or?…

    Thanks.

The cookie settings HttpOnly and Secure are configured using the php_flag command. Unfortunately, it works only with PHP as Apache module. If your web server is running the PHP in CGI or FastCGI mode this won’t works and will cause the 500 Internal Server Error.
