Support » Plugin: Elementor Page Builder » Sections Broken not duplicating

  • Resolved Silverzz

    Hi guys,

I created sections a little while back and tested it at the time, all was working perfectly. After an update or two, when I now try to duplicate a section or insert from a saved template, the result is not at all the same with the section being very messy and all over the place.

I have even tried to recreate the ‘section’ however it’s just showing up as really messy again, however, the existing section is still in place and showing perfectly.

    The page in question –

I have duplicated the section right under the one which is working correctly so you may see the issue .

Any help with this issue would be much appreciated

    Kind regards

  • After much digging around, it turns out that it was the autoptimize plugin that was making the sections break, although oddly enough the old section remained intact until it was duplicated (and the new ones broke).

Hope that helps anyone else that might be having the same issue.

in case you want to dig in AO’s config to work around this issue; first and foremost try to identify what is breaking your site by just disabling CSS or JS optimization. Once you know that, dive in and try identify what code/ files (CSS or JS) are responsible for the broken feature and try excluding that. If the problem is with JS, chances are you’ll find useful information on your browser’s developer console. There’s more info in the troubleshooting tips and info on exclusions in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps,
