 * Hi,
 * your section block icon suggests that it is possible to have some kind of columns
   within a section block, or at least blocks inserted and aligned in a horizontal
   row. Is that possible?

 * You can insert Columns block inside Section block.
    Example: [https://themes.getmotopress.com/luviana/contact-us/](https://themes.getmotopress.com/luviana/contact-us/)
   section with form and map.

 * yes, sure, the standard column block. But that is a bit a pity not to have the
   Getwid sections features like animations, backgrounds, margin settings etc. on
   a per column basis

    You can add Section
   block to each column of the Columns block.
