• The public view of my website (heritage417.com) has ” >section?> ” in sans serif directly above the primary menu box, which contains a jpg logo in addition to the menu items. Changing the position of the menu doesn’t do anything. I’ve checked menu and appearance settings and don’t see anything unusual. Is this some type of embedded code that for some reason has decided to make itself visible? The only plugins I have active are Easy Google Fonts, Page Builder, and WP Like. Any help in getting rid of >section?> would be appreciated!

    Hey @tmkara,

please check the “Analytics code” tab of the “Appearance – Customize” admin section – make sure there’s no plain text or html in that field, only analytics scripts. In case this doesn’t help, please let me know!

    Cheers,

I don’t have the expansion pack so no access to analytics. I had attempted to input some CSS code to change the color of the header box, but I deleted that when it didn’t work (from what I can tell the page header (title?) box background is default blue and can’t be changed, at least not in the free version). I’m thinking I’ll try deleting the menu and start over and see if that cures it (but too late tonight!)

Updating to Bento 1.7.2 did it!! Thanks so much, Andrii. It was driving me crazy!

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the theme review team.
