[Resolved] Seconds between slides

  • I need to show up 1 image per day and my configuration of “Seconds between changing slides” function have 86400 seconds (which means 24 hours) but it doesn’t do that, it works fine if I request 10 seconds, 25 seconds, etc but I want to know if is any limitation for that function or maybe I’m doing something else wrong. My site is beta.loskitoscookies.com

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi John,

I think you misunderstand the purpose of the ‘Seconds between changing slides’ option. Are you trying to show a new slide every day?

The timer goes in when a visitor arrives on the page. In your case, a visitor would have to wait an entire day before the next slide is shown.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

What I can do to find a solution because the image is a comic strip and only want to show one per day. It is any way to fix it?

WordPress has a built in feature you can use to do this. Before publishing a slideshow you can schedule a date for publishing, usually this is set to ‘immediately’. This option can be found right above the publish button.

You could set a new slideshow for every day.
