• Good evening,

I am running WordPress 3.5 with the Neptune theme by WPExplorer. I have twenty items added to the Portfolio; page one shows sixteen of them. The second page should show the remaining four, but instead it simply 404’s, leaving me with no way to display these four items.

    Thoughts?

  • Have you tried resetting the permalinks?
Sometimes, these need to be set to default and then back to whatever you wanted.

    Good evening, Christine –

I have tried doing that and it does not seem to have had any effect.

    Any other ideas? 🙂

The same happened to me; permalinks doesn’t work. In the end I had to change the number of portfolio posts per page so that there wasn’t anything beyond page 1!

As it happens I’m having a similar problem with the wpexplorer Adapt theme since updating to WordPress 3.5; again tried updating permalinks (didn’t work). I have a feeling these 2 wpexplorer designs are not 3.5 ready.

    geckohooks,

How exactly did you go about changing the number of portfolio items displayed per page? Is this process different from changing the number of WP posts per page (Options > Reading)?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

I have the same problem here with Neptune theme.
Anyone any ideas to solve this problem?

Same here, asked WPExplorer via fb and twitter and got no response 🙁

Sorry for the issues with the theme guys. There was a small bug on the homepage and I’ve fixed it.

It had nothing to do with WP 3.5 though and its not an issue that everyone would have.

I’ve updated the live demo so you can see it works now:

I tidied up the code a bit as well.

@korsso – Unfortunately I get hundreds of messages on both my twitter and facebook pages. It’s impossible for me to go through these and assist people. For the most part these fixes should be pretty simple so if you ever run into an issue with a theme I am sure a freelancer can assist for a minimal cost.

    @ AJClarke

Can you please tell us how you fixed the problem?

    thnx
    Luc.

    * Changed index.php completely
    * Added front-page.php (basically the old index.php with edits)
    * Added new function in functions.php line 203

    Dear AJ,

I apologize for the off-topic, but I have not found any other way to contact you. I have a little problem with the Adapt Theme (which relates to the support of multilanguage). Could you tell me your contact details?
    Thanks in advance
    Sergei

siroza – If it’s this theme, you have to post there: http://www.wpexplorer.com/adapt-free-responsive-wordpress-theme/

Thanks, Ipstenu. But that’s my problem! On this page ( http://www.wpexplorer.com/adapt-free-responsive-wordpress-theme/) I can not find any contact details of AJ 🙁
