If yes, you need to ‘select the primary category’ when editing the post. This option is in the right-hand sidebar. Are the categories assigned to the post parent/child categories? For example, is category Y the parent of category X? * 2. If you deactivate all plugins except for Yoast SEO and use the Twenty Twenty theme, does the problem with the breadcrumb categories still appear?
