Season-based permlinks

An easy question (well, I’m not allowed to post in WP-Advanced):

Instead of year-based permailinks, is it possible to set up season-based ones, to match up with my club’s football seasons? That is to say, replacing ‘2009’ and ‘2010’ with ‘0910’, ‘2010’ and ‘2011’ with ‘1011’ and so on?

Starting your post permalinks with numbers is recommended, so I do; I’d just like to amke the link with the season more obvious.
