# Searching the database

 * I have a database on my site that I want to make available to frontend users.
   From that frontend page I want to give users the ability to search the database.
   However, when using WP search it searches the whole website and other plugins
   like Relevanssi don’t give an option to limit to this database alone. Any recommendations
   on how to make this possible?

 * The plugin data is separate from WordPress, so site searches and plugins like
   Relevanssi won’t include records saved in Participants Database.
 * The plugin has a simple built-in search function. You can enable it by including“
   search=true” in the list shortocode.
