# Search/Filter issue

 * Hi,
 * I’ve got a table, it’s getting to where I want it to be, but the search/filter
   option seems to be having a problem.
 * When I use the search to search/filter by Chapter, it doesn’t work. EG: When 
   I type Chapter 5 into it, it seems to ignore the chapter column but then lists
   everything containing a 5.
 * It’s frustrating me at this stage.
 * Hope someone has some idea of how to fix this!

 * Hi,
 * thanks for the link! The behavior that you describe is expected here. It’s basically
   the same as in Google. `Chapter` and `5` are treated as separate search terms.
   If you only want to find `Chapter 5`, you’d have to add quotation marks, i.e.
   search for `"Chapter 5"`.
 * Another idea for this table could be the TablePress Extension from [https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-columnfilterwidgets/](https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-columnfilterwidgets/)
   which would allow the user to choose a chapter from a drop-down.

 * To access the Advanced Editor quickly, just hold the “Shift” key while clicking
   into the desired cell.
