Searches show old revisions of posts – even after clearing revisions

    I noticed searches on my site were turning up old versions of my posts, so I downloaded the plugin Optimize Database after Deleting Revision.

    It deleted the revisions, but the searches still turn up old versions of the posts. Is this something that will be cleared out automatically over time, or is there something I need to do to refresh this search.

    I thought it could be my browser cache, but it was not.

    What do you mean by ‘searches’? Searches at Google or Bing or with the search at your site? If at your site, then clear the server cache…If at search engines, consult their documentation on site indexing.
