Search within Plugin Support Forum !

So, you are ready to post a problem you got with a plugin, but it might have been reported already within the last 85 topics….
Maybe I am blind but I could not find a forum search (title only option as well) to scope the search only to the particular plugin. Many new topics and repetitions could be avoided that just annoy the user AND the author of the software…..

Feature Request:
1) Search withing Plugin Support Forum
2) Options:
– Search title only
– Search topic contents
– Search closed (I would expect a solution there)

There isn’t one. There’s Google, though, and you can use that by limiting your search to just wordpress.org/support

As for searching ONLY one plugin: http://wordpress.org/tags/pluginname

i.e. http://wordpress.org/tags/wptouch

I know, but then it would be good to add this Google search to every WP plugin fora instead of user needing to manually set the advanced search. many sites use this integrated feature.
As said, the goal should be within wordpress.org plugins already with the added features/options mentioned. Otherwise for a fast lookup it is too tedious

7 months,….no change…lack of this feature causes so much overhead as posts are created though they have been discussed trillion times, but without a search within, people ask same questions over and over again…..this should be 1st PRIO above all. I cannot think of a better feature that has higher prio ATM….strange

Fixing WordPress core and improving that takes precendece, always.

If you know how to fix it, though, please write something 🙂 We’re using bbPress 1.0 code here.
