# Search Within Forums on WordPress.org

 * Hi,
 * This has to do with the forums on WordPress.org.
    How does one search within 
   the forums?
 * If I am on a current plugin support forum or a theme support forum…how do I search
   within that forum without having to resort to the search box at the top right
   of this page?
 * I find this a major frustration with these support forums and would love to see
   a major improvement on it?

 * Oh – so would we! But the search here is what it is and- yes – we know it sucks.
   Improving the forum searchability is on the ToDo list but it’s a really long 
   list. In the meantime, Google is probably a better option for you.

 * Thanks Esmi. It’s would just be nice to be able to search the sub forum for questions
   that have already been asked on that very specific theme. I can Google it, that’s
   what I normally do but it’s the having to sift through all the rubbish to get
   to what you want that’s part of the frustration.
 * Thanks for letting me know though, nice to know something is being done about
   it.
