    Hi,

There is a peculiar problem i have encountered is that that plugin search is too slow when the search term is entered and if you press enter.

What could be the possible reason for this and how can I fix it. By the way, the plugin is great and does it’s job.

Anyone able to fix it? looking forward to a response.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Is there anyone who can help me out with this? Is it due to the number of products and does buying the premium version solves this issue? If yes, please confirm, I will buy the premium version. Or does the problem lie somewhere else?

But it should solve the issue. Please confirm. Urgent.

Looking forward to a speedy response.

    Thanks

    Hello,

The Pro plugin version may solve the problem, but only partially. You can try. We have a 14-day unconditional money-back guarantee – https://ajaxsearch.pro/pricing/

I made a simple test and I checked two pages:

    1. ?s=lap&post_type=product
    2. ?s=lap&post_type=product&dgwt_wcas=1

The first URL loads the search results page without using my plugin. The second URL loads the page with my plugin. In both samples, the load speed was about 30 seconds. So the problem is placed elsewhere. Probably one of your plugins does it. You can try to disable plugins one by one until the search results page will be faster.

Also, see the difference between Pro and Free search engine:

The Free plugin version uses a native WooCommerce search engine. It means that the search speed depends on many factors:

    1. How many plugins do you have?
    2. How many products do you have?
    3. How your WordPress is optimized?
    4. How your server is fast?
    5. How big is the search scope?

The Pro plugin version has a different search engine based on the fastest PHP search engine TNT Search. Also, I added a lot of tricks in the Pro version e.g. special SHORTINIT WordPress mode. It means, that every search query doesn’t need to load unnecessary files including all plugins, theme, and a big part of WordPress core files. So the search is always fast, no matter how many plugins you have or how your website is optimized (or not optimized).
The average search speed for 50 000+ products takes about 0.2 second per request (standard shared hosting). For users who have a fast server, it takes even less than 0.1 second. The Pro plugin as always ultra-fast.

    Best
    Damian
