Search text in mobile devices gets pushed out of the screen

    Whenever I click on the magnifying glass icon and try to type some text on the search bar, the bar is pushed out of the screen as soon as the mobile keyboard shows up. I made a 30 second video on YouTube that illustrates the problem.

    I’ve been looking through Blocksy’s functionalities (Customization/Global Header/Search Element) but can’t come up with any solution.

    What can I do? This would pose a significant problem for future users…

    Hello @ibshans,
    This is an issue with iOS devices only.
    It happens because of how these devices are outputting the keyboard.

    We have an idea of how to improve this behavior, hope we will be able to release an improvement in the next update 🙂

    I use Android and still have the issue (Xiaomi Pocophone F1), so it probably isn’t exclusive to iOS devices…

    Will be looking forward for that update, but please take into account that it’s not an iOS-only problem while you are at it.

    Hm, that’s weird, we tested this behavior a few days ago on an Android device (Google Pixel) and everything was fine…

    Will investigate this more detailed today.

    So, after some more investigations, we found that this is a known issue and it is related to mobile devices and how they act in different circumstances.

    We made a small improvement in the latest update and now the search input should stay in the viewport.

    Please give it a try and let us know how it works.
