 * Hi,
 * When I place the search shortcode at the top of the page the search results are
   listed after the categories, but the user needs to scroll down to see the results
   rather than be positioned to view the results.
 * When I place the search shortcode after the list of categories, then after the
   search the user is positioned at the top of the page rather where the results
   are listed. In my case the results were not visible until I scrolled down.
 * After the search, all the categories remain listed, even tho links are not working
   for categories where search results were not found. There is no visual way to
   tell from looking at the categories, which are clickable and have results of
   the search.
 * There is no clear search button. The user needs to clear the search area and
   hit enter. A clear search button would be more user friendly.

 * Hi,
 * So maybe having the search grey out category links w/o search hits ao the user
   knows categoies to select or choose to scroll down.
 * The clear search button would also make use more clear.

 * Hi,
 * If you think this greying out of categories with no search hits us something
   you would do, I will make a donation.
    BTW, this is for a non-profit group. How
   much should I donate?

 * Hi Larry,
 * Sorry for the lack of response. I was travelling for work this past week, and
   am heading back out on Saturday. Your idea of graying out and unlinking categories
   that do not contain any links makes sense and I will definitely look at incorporating
   it shortly. That being said, I am not sure I will be able to make the addition
   before my next trip, since plugin development is something I do evenings and
   week-ends. Would getting this enhancements past Feb 24th still be beneficial
   to you?
 * In terms of a donation amount, given the amount of effort but taking into consideration
   that this is for a non-profit, I would suggest a 25$ donation.

 * Hi,
 * Also include the option of adding a “clear search” button.
 * The 24th is fine. As is the donation.
 * After this, then maybe you can look into the twenty seventeen theme menu overlay
   issue.
    Adding 25% top-padding has helped.

 * Hi Larry,
 * I just sent you an updated code file for you to test on your site to gmail address
   you used for the donation. Please test and let me know if it works as expected.
   Then I can publish plugin update.

 * Hi,
 * That removed the listing of categories w/o search hit rater than greying them
   out.
    This is fine with me, and is better for Mobile devices.
 * However, I still want a “Clear Search” button to help users get back to the full
   list of categories
 * Larry
 * P.S. then maybe we can talk about getting the category links to be responsive
   and cont overlayed by the menu on some devices.

 * As we discussed via e-mail, to see the categories that do not contain any search
   hits displayed in grey, you need to have the ‘Hide Results if Empty’ option unchecked
   under the Common tab of library settings.
 * I am going to look at the Clear Search button functionality soon.

 * Hi Yannick!
 * Is there a way to remove the Reset Search button? The way that I’m using Link
   Library, it’s just using up space but does not provide any functionality:

 * I’d appreciate any pointers you can give me.
 * Thank you!

 * Hi Emily, Sorry about that. Just added an option to show the search button, unchecked
   by default.
 * Larry, please go in and check this new button to see the Reset search button
   on your side.
 * I hope this pleases everyone. Please consider donating to support this plugin’s
   development.
