• When I use site search on my website (I recently inherited from another developer) – the results page displays with no CSS.

I’m hoping someone can help me uncover why this is and how to fix. I need to get site search up and running asap. Thanks!

  • The problem has to do with your search page template (from your theme or the 3rd-party page builder you’re using).

But your site is using a custom theme (“Scientific Brands”), along with a 3rd-party commercial page builder plugin (“Divi Builder”).

That makes it impossible for us here to install any of these addons, replicate your problem, and try to offer any assistance.

Kindly review this page I found from your page builder’s vendor to see if it solves your problem: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/divi-resources/how-to-create-a-search-results-page-template-in-divi

    Good luck!

Hi @jdodigital You need to check following points to make search page running.
    1. Check in file from where css file is enqueue. Check that your css file is included for search page or not.
    2. From view source, it looks like minify option is enable. Please check by disabling that option. Minified css is showing on your home page view source which is not in search page view source.

Let me know if you need more help in this.

I tried turning off the two plugins that I think may have been minifying the CSS (Breeze and WP Rocket) – however, it didn’t appear to fix the search results page.

    Any other ideas?

    Thank you!
