Hey! I’m using “Statement” to work on a new storefront website. I’m getting it pretty close to where I want, but have a couple questions. Not sure if they have to do with the theme or with woocommerce, but I’m sure you’ll know!

First, the search results page shows all the results as a huge, full-width images. I’d prefer for them to show up as the smaller thumbnail-type images like on the shop homepage. Is there a way to do that?

Second, on the individual product pages, I’d like to hide the “SKU”. I don’t think it needs to be on there. Is there a way to hide that?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Shawn

Found how to hide the SKU! But I still have no idea about the search results thing…

    Hi there,

The search results in GP use the same template as the blog – are you using a blog as well?

Our “Blog” add-on allows you to choose the size and alignment of your post images, which would also work for the search results.

If that doesn’t work for you, I may be able to come up with some CSS to reduce the size of the image, but there won’t be cropping and as many alignment features as there are in the Blog add-on.

    Let me know 🙂

Ok, well that did make it a little better. Although it’s still not exactly how I’d like it to look, they’re at least not ginormous, lol.

If you go to my site at http://www.forthesportsfan.com, the main page is the “Shop” page. Now search the term “baseball”. I’d like the results page that comes up to have them arranged the same way as the homepage (alignment, price, add to cart, etc.). Not sure if that is possible.

On a separate note now, do you know if there is a way to make searches search the tags of the items as well? Right now it only searches the titles. :^\

Thanks so much for the help! I like how this is starting to look and my purchase of the $30 add-on package at the beginning made it much easier! :^D

    Thanks for your purchase! 🙂

I have a solution for you!

Add this code to your child theme: https://gist.github.com/generatepress/1004ec856a3d7a8023b6

    Adding PHP: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/adding-php-functions/

Let me know if that does the trick or not.

Awesome! That worked perfectly! Thanks so much, Tom!!!

And I found a plugin that makes searches include the tags so I think I’m set on everything for now.

    Thanks again, Tom!
