• Hi,

The version of Relevanssi is: 3.5.3
I’m looking for the term: Vitamin C

The setting in Relevanssi settings screen:
    1. Default operator for the search: “AND requires all terms”
    2. When to use fuzzy matching: Don’t use FUZZY
    3. Weight: post title: 1000
    4. Disable OR fallback: Checked.

When I search for the term: Vitamin C
I get other results such as vitamin b, vitamin b12…

But if I use quotes before and after the term (“vitamin c”) I can see the result vitamin c

    Can you help?

    Thank you,

    Sam

By default, Relevanssi doesn’t index words shorter than three characters, so searching for vitamin c is exactly the same as searching for vitamin b.

Adjust the minimum word length to 1 and it might work better.

Thank you Mikko for your reply.

I adjusted the minimum word length to 1, I get results with vitamin c and without vitamin c.

I would like to have only results that consist the 2 words vitamin c.
I use the Default operator for the search: “AND requires all terms”

    Thank you,

Those results seem correct to me. All of them have the “C” somewhere and “vitamin” somewhere. If you need them to have the phrase “vitamin c”, then you need to use phrase searching, with the quotes.
