search results does not force www in url

  • I have set the WordPress / Site Address as http://www.domain.com and any post / page I go to redirects me to http://www.domain.com if I try domain.com.

I have noticed that if you try to type in domain.com/search/whatever, it does not redirect to the www version.

I have tried adding htaccess to force it, but that just creates an Apache server “file moved” page.

This is essential in keeping my subdomains cookie-free.
