Search result missing horizontal menu

Permalink setting is “Month and name”, the site is using a static frontpage.

I found the following problem/bug. The site is using the template “TwentyTen”, it is the newest one, and it is not customized.

Problem: When using the search widget, the search result page does not display the horizontal menu, it simply is not there. It displays fine on all other pages. Only in the search result page the horizontal menu does not display.

Here is more settings: In the main settings of Polylang the following is selected/checked:

# The language code, for example /en/, is added to all urls when using pretty permalinks.

# Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks. Example: http://domainname.com/en/

# Hide URL language information for default language

# When using static front page, redirect the language page (example: http://domainname.com/en/) to the front page in the right language
