    Hello,

I’m having an issue with the search result of my site,

You can try to access my staging site as provided by the link.

    Case:

I have a lot of products, when I try to search any of them by the search form (for example I’m looking for “tang”) the result is those products that contain “tang” instead of the products that I’m looking for (btw, tang is pliers in English)

    https://ibb.co/Kb0kfX7
this image represents the result of the search, the product “tang” im looking for is located after the products that contain the word “tang” which is for me, not right.
    How to solve this?

    Cheers

    Hi @slimmz,

This is the default and expected behavior of the search feature. If you want to search for a specific product you’ll want to enter the exact name in the search box.

You may want to improve the search functionality by adding an extension, here are a few that you might consider:

    WooCommerce Product Search
    Ajax Instant Search
    Product Finder

Just so you know, we offer a 30-day refund policy so you can test out the extensions with your requirements and make sure it works for you. Here are more details on the refund policy: https://woocommerce.com/refund-policy/.

    Hope this helps.

Is there any free options to help me?

Hi @slimmz – It’s very likely there are. I would suggest searching on Google for your answer and using site:wordpress.org in the search query. This will ensure only free plugins from WordPress.org show up in the search results. We generally only suggest plugins from WooCommerce.com, as those are the only ones we can ensure a) work, and b) we can help support. Thanks!
