What keyword do we search?
“vale” is a good one, but nothing works.
Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
deactivating all plugins did not work.
If there’s a problem with the theme, I want to fix it, rather than change to something else.

The suggestion to switch to another theme was just a debugging method; if the issue persists on another theme, especially the default theme that comes with WordPress then it’s not a Pinboard issue. Additionally try to replicate the issue on one of Pinboard’s demo sites: http://wp-themes.com/pinboard/
search seems to work fine on the demo site. It used to work fine on my page too. I’ve just disabled the wigets at the bottom which makes the results look very strange, as if there isn’t room to display the results on page!
Updated theme, all back to normal now. Thanks for your help.
