Hello @jimon07
I do not see the feature being activated on your site so I cannot assess the situation. Can you please turn it on and let me know?
Thanks!
It is turned on and working fine when logged in as admin but as i also discovered when you are not logged in it gives these error messages.

Hello @jimon07
The error would be something that’s coming from some kind of service or plugin that’s blocking the REST API for logged out users. This is fully confirmed by what you have told me so far. And the error message adds further confirmation to this, as 401 means unauthorized.
Do you have any “security” services/plugins that are installed on the site? Can you try temporarily deactivating them?
Thanks.
Ok i found out which plugin was creating the problem. Thank you for the insight about the REST API.
Now you can check it and tell me if there is a way to fix the low resolution images.
Hello @jimon07
Ok, I have been able to look at the site now and it seems that there’s still something that grabs the wrong image.
Can you please verify under Settings -> Media and let me know what size you have set for the “thumbnail”?
Thanks.
I have set every size in this setting as 0x0 in order not to create extra images. I would expect to get the full image in the live results.
Maybe i am wrong. Either way i changed the thumbnail image to 77X77 as this is the largest redered size in the live results page and i am waiting to see some changes.
Hello @jimon07
No, that wouldn’t be the case and this is not how you stop thumbnails from generating. 🙂
The live search results images are pulled in from the “thumbnail” size. That is required to be a sensible size in order to look good on the front end. Try increasing the size to around 150×150, as per the default.
And after making these changes, you must wait a few minutes up to a few hours, depending on how many images you have on the site. WordPress quietly regenerates everything in the background, depending on how many resources are available and what other tasks are performed in the background. If you need to force thumbnail regeneration after making changes, there are a couple of plugins on the WordPress store that claim to do that.
But all in all, the thumbnail size is used for the live results. That must be set to something moderate.
Thanks.
Thank you.
I have changed the setting and i am waiting for the regenration of the thumbnails.
I hope this fixed the issue. I will contact back when i see changes.
Ok. The regeneration seems to be fixing the problem.
Thank you very much
Great! Thanks a lot for confirming, @jimon07 🙂
