    Hi,

    thanks for your post! Nice to hear that you like the plugin!

    That’s usually caused by some inconsistency or conflict in the theme.
    Adding some CSS like

    .dataTables_filter {
      white-space: nowrap !important;
    }

    to the “Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen helps in most cases.
    If that does not help, can you please post the URL to the page with the table?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    P.S.: In case that you won’t need the plugin until later, note that I’m currently working on the official successor, called TablePress. See http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tablepress/ for more.

    Cool Excellent…

    Nearly Perfect

    slight over run…

    I should mention that for some reson I was working on a table, saved it and then all the data disappeared… it was very strange… Im not sure if when I was using tags that I left out something or what but it all disappeared… had to rebuilt the table.. Its nothing major.. I requarley back up the tables now…

    Hi,

    thanks for the link. With that, I was able to determine the actual cause for this. Please try this new code (and remove the code from my first post again):

    .dataTables_filter input {
      width: auto;
    }

    About the disappearing tables: That sounds weird, and shouldn’t happen. Now, there are some known issues with certain PHP/server configurations, but those usually occur with larger tables only. To be on the safe side, if might be worthwhile to switch to TablePress now already, as those should not happen there (due to a different internal data structure).

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks Tobias… you are a genius…

    Ok I will look into migrating over…

    Thanks again
