Are you saying the other site where the search works correctly is using the same Apache installation or it’s simply another site elsewhere? * When you disable all plugins on the problem site, did you also switch to one of the default twenty* themes? You need to do this to ensure WP is in an entirely default state. You might also try replacing the wp-includes and wp-admin folders and contained files with those from a fresh download, as well as whatever default theme files you are using. Also replace all the root WP installation files ** except** wp-config.php. * Depending on where the Apache test file is relative to the site’s or WP’s root, it shouldn’t even be possible for WP to redirect there, it’d have to be some server level directive that does so. Try switching the site to use plain permalinks and temporarily renaming the WP root’s .htaccess file, as well as any parent folder .htaccess if there are any. If the behavior persists with WP in the default state and with no .htaccess files, I think it would have to be something in the site’s .conf file or files. If you have such access, try renaming that file or folder structure and replacing it with the default Apache version.
